Take a blow dryer and put it on low heat, and then blow the air on the curler for at least 3 to 5 seconds. Now check to see whether the metal is hot or not, if it is hot let it cool down for few seconds because you do not want to burn your eyelid with hot eyelash curler.

Now open the curler and clamp eyelashes near the roots. Hold this position for at least 10 to 30 seconds. Important thing to remember is do not curl your lashes with mascara still on because as soon as the mascara will dry out, your eyelashes will stick to the curler and would be torn form the roots.

Repeat on the other eye.

All these steps would appear fairly simple but remember if you follow these simple steps you will not only get the desire results but can also protect your eyelashes being ragged from their roots.
